Tulip Festival in Morges

On Easter Monday we drove to Morges - a town next to Lausanne on the north-western bank of Lake Geneva. We heard that Morges is famous for their annual tulip festival. We couldn't resist.

What a sight it was! It was so beautiful, I didn't want to leave.

I am proud to say that I probably photographed every species of tulip in that garden in Morges. One day when I grow up, I want a great big tulip garden, just like that.

Enjoy the million-billion-trillion pics that I uploaded - and this is only a selection of what I took hahaha

Gorgeous, eh?

After returning the rental car in Geneva we spent the rest of the afternoon on the grass in our park overlooking the lake, sipping red wine and eating our home-made sarmies. Then we snoozed in the late afternoon sun. As you do. Happy Easter, everyone!
