my ART

For my loved ones on the other side of the planet, I have decided to post my art on this blog so that you can see what I've been up to, if you're interested.

I'm posting old stuff and new, so you should remember some of it.

I'll start with the only piece of art that I managed to save from school days. This was done sometime in the late 1980's
"roy orbison"

Next, my beloved Volkswagen Beetle that I painted full of daisies
This pic was used in a magazine ad in South Africa. That's me in the driver's seat, and my friends Ingrid (behind me in the shade) and Natalie (in orange behin the car).

The following two pics were made on Microsoft Paint when I started my first crappy job.

The following were all made during the 1990's

country living

We have found a house!! Finally, we now have rental accommodation in England that we can call home for the next 6 - 12 months. We will be moving to the countryside in Essex on 31 March, and will be completely surrounded by farm fields, nestled between a small village and a large town. Ours is one of only four semi-detached houses on a quiet farm lane, and the furry kids will have a huge garden to run around in.

I'm so excited and relieved and can't wait to show you all a few pics of the place. One of my favourite spots in the house will undoubtedly be the large kitchen with a big table and chairs right in the middle, and a cast iron stove! Don't worry, there is a modern stove too.

We will be about 65 km (38 miles) north-east of London, but only 11 minutes from the main train station where Mr Fluff can catch a fast train (35 minutes) to London. Brilliant!!

Now we can inform the moving company and get our mail redirected. Phew, what a load off.

I'll email some pics as soon as I can. All we can ask for now is that you wish us good luck with the big Trek back to the UK.

Take care, be healthy and happy! xxx
