Lunch & plugs and stuff

A few weeks ago we went to Talloires to have a look at a Golf we're interested in buying (and hopefully will have by next week!), and while chatting to the dealer he suggested a place to go have lunch at on the lake. We went, and it was fantastic!

We ordered a beer, a cheese platter, veggie crudités with a dip and a bowl of fries. YUM YUM it was delicious, and the surroundings and views were out of this world. The restaurant is so cool, they have straw hats sitting on the bar, and if you feel you need one you just help yourself.

Next to the restaurant is the swimming area - lake pool and soft grass to relax on.

Talloires is not only famous for its beauty (fab spot on Lake Annecy), but also for the numerous paragliding schools there.

The day before Mr Fluff's birthday we had a sundowner at the lake (Geneva) before we had dinner at our favourite Indian restaurant. This was our view

On the celebratory day of Mr Fluff's birth, we spent the afternoon lazing on the grass at the park, sipping fabulously cold Rosé (as you do), and giggling at the shenanigans of a bunch of kids and their parents at a rich kid's birthday party at the restaurant at the park. The parents of the birthday boy/girl hired part of the restaurant terrace, a DJ, photographers, a videographer and entertainers. It was quite the spectacle and provided much entertainment for us spectating on the sly.

And finally, here are some pics of our new abode, taken on what I thought was one of the hottest days of the year. How wrong was I! This place (in my humble opinion) is damn hot all the time!! Every day is somewhere between the high twenties and mid thirties. I'm so melty you could paint the street with me :0)

Anyway, Mr Fluff changed some plugs and mowed the lawn (no rest for the wicked) and later we lay on our huge beanbags under the tree. Lovely.

doggie toy :0)

Ooh ooh while I'm sitting here typing I can hear our lovely post man on his bike. I always hear him from afar - he whistles beautifully while cycling from one street to the next. What a happy chap! I just had to mention him.

Bye for now, my lovelies. Fingers crossed we manage to collect our new (used) Golf this week!

Love xx
